Description

A 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour in the factory-correct Day-Glo Pink finish. This is a true survivor, not a restoration — we have disclosed every flaw below so the buyer knows exactly what they are getting.

Condition — what to know

  • Original paint is sun-faded on the top surfaces.
  • Rear dropouts were bent at some point in the bike’s early life and later straightened — straightening left visible paint cracks around the dropouts.
  • Seat mast has a crack just below the seat clamp; the seatpost holds securely and the bike is fully rideable.
  • Minor frame imperfections consistent with a 38-year-old rider’s bike.
  • Mechanically solid. Rides as it should.

Components

  • Frame: Original 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour, survivor condition.
  • Cranks: Reproduction cranks, functional and visually correct for the era.
  • Brake pads: New, for reliable stopping.
  • Remaining build: period-correct where original, documented in photos.

Who it suits

Riders who want to ride an honest 80s GT Pro without worrying about perfect paint, and collectors who value correct survivors over fully-restored examples.
